Visit of the French delegation of Expertise France

Visit of the French delegation of Expertise France

On November 5, 2024, a delegation of the French agency for international technical cooperation Expertise France visited Chernihiv Polytechnic National University as part of its visit to the Chernihiv region. Deputy General Director Kasild BRENYE  personally arrived in Chernihiv to see with her own eyes the results of the region’s recovery and to consider opportunities for further cooperation in priority areas.

Among the key points of the visit was getting to know Chernihiv Polytechnic National University and the Peremoga Startup and Innovation Center. The rector of the university, Oleg NOVOMLYNETS, conducted an introductory tour for the Expertise France delegation, during which he spoke about the stages of the institution’s recovery after the devastating attacks by the Russian Federation, shared his experience of overcoming challenges and restoring the educational process in difficult conditions. The delegation had the opportunity to see with their own eyes how the university, despite the difficult circumstances, has retained its potential and is actively working on future revival and development. The guests were also shown the “Peremoga” startup center, a unique space for young entrepreneurs, where ideas that can change the future are born. The center made an impression as a place where innovation and entrepreneurship take real shape and significance for the region.

As a result of the meeting, agreements were reached on close cooperation with Chernihiv Polytechnic National University in the direction of the development of startups, expansion of the university’s infrastructural capabilities and support for initiatives that will contribute to the socio-economic development of the region.

We are sincerely grateful to the Expertise France agency for its openness to cooperation and willingness to support the development of the educational sphere in the Chernihiv region.
