TURBO: an educational program for the development of small and medium-sized businesses in action. Social entrepreneurship: from idea to mission

We continue to share news about the implementation of the microcredit educational program for retraining and social adaptation of internally displaced persons within the framework of the project “Universities’ response to major obstacles: creating sustainable higher education for responding to and managing social crises (TURBO)”.

On April 3, within the framework of the “Social Entrepreneurship” module, a training session “Value principles of social entrepreneurship” was held, which was conducted by Nadiya Nagorna, Dean of the Faculty of Social Technologies, Health and Rehabilitation, Candidate of Psychology, Associate Professor.

The training was dedicated to the formation of the fundamental elements of social entrepreneurship. Participants worked on developing the idea of their own social enterprise, formulated a mission and outlined the social problems that they seek to solve through their activities. The session included the stages of business value analysis, as well as initial study of the target audience and potential social impact.

The session became an important launch point for further development of the social enterprise business model, taking into account both financial sustainability and social impact.
