Meeting with the delegation of the Republic of Latvia

          On 20 March 2024, a meeting with the delegation of the Republic of Latvia was held.

          The meeting was attended by the Director of the Foundation Laura SKRODELE, Director of the Foundation, and representatives of the delegation of the Republic of Latvia – Alexandrs HOLMANOVS, Military Attaché, and Ilgvars KļAVA, Ambassador of the Republic of Latvia to Ukraine.

During the meeting, an agreement was signed with the Entrepreneurs for Peace Foundation to finance the reconstruction of the university. The presence of representatives of the Republic of Latvia at the signing ceremony demonstrates international support and recognition of the importance of restoring educational institutions in Chernihiv.

On the same day, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ilgvārs KļAVA delivered a guest lecture to the teachers and students of Chernihiv Polytechnic National University and answered questions from the audience.
