Tutoring is the key to successful adaptation of first-year students

Tutoring is the key to successful adaptation of first-year students
During the first week of September, as part of the implementation of the EU Erasmus+ PROMENT project “Promoting professional education and active participation of students through the establishment of a comprehensive system of mentoring and tutoring in institutions”, trainings were held for participants of the First-Year School, dedicated to important issues of adaptation to student life using the existing tutoring system at the university.
Together with the first-year students, they discussed how to quickly adapt to new learning conditions, what tutoring is and how cooperation with tutors can help first-year students cope with the challenges of student life and find their own path to self-development. The newly appointed group tutors congratulated the first-year students on starting their studies at the university.
The PROMENT project opens up new opportunities in building a comprehensive mentoring system in institutions, creating a friendly environment for adaptation and development, as well as supporting initiatives that promote the active participation of young people in university life.
We sincerely thank all participants for their activity and interesting questions! Together we are forming a culture of support and mutual assistance at the university.
