TURBO: Educational Program for Small and Medium-Sized Business Development

          On March 3, the grand opening of the spring semester of the certificate (microcredit) program “TURBO: Educational Program for Small and Medium-Sized Business Development” took place, which is implemented by Chernihiv Polytechnic National University in cooperation with the Chernihiv European NGO within the framework of the TURBO project “Universities’ Response to Major Obstacles: Creating Sustainable Higher Education for Responding to and Managing Social Crises”.

          The main goal of the project is to increase the resilience, preparedness, and responsiveness of Ukrainian higher education institutions by building their capacity, improving competencies, and exchanging experience. The program is focused on internally displaced persons (IDPs) with higher education and is aimed at developing skills for starting and developing small and medium-sized businesses. Thanks to academic retraining at leading Ukrainian higher education institutions, they will be able to acquire new competencies that will contribute to their employment and integration into local communities where they were forced to relocate due to the war.
