Academic mobility of Chernihiv Polytechnic National University teachers at UNISANNIO (Benevento, Italy)
Within the framework of the international project The BRIDGE – Bridging the gap between university and industry: Master Curricular Supporting the Development of Green Jobs and Digital Skills in the Ukrainian Building Sector’ (https://thebridgeproject.org.ua/front) the academic staff of Chernihiv Polytechnic National University visited UNISANNIO University (Benevento, Italy) from 7 to 11 April 2025 (https://unisannio.it/en).
The purpose of the visit was to get acquainted with the peculiarities of the educational process and the principles of teaching disciplines in the training of specialists for the construction industry using BIM technologies.
Together with other representatives of The BRIDGE consortium, namely colleagues from leading Ukrainian universities – Dnipro (https://pgasa.dp.ua/), Kyiv (https://www.knuba.edu.ua/), Lviv (https://lpnu.ua/) and Odesa (https://odaba.edu.ua/), as well as representatives of industry NGOs – the Academy of Construction of Ukraine (https://abu.in.ua/) and the Institute of Professional Qualifications (https://ipq.org.ua/), our scientists completed an academic internship on the project, got acquainted with the experience of UNISANNIO University in the construction industry, in particular, the use of BIM-oriented software (REVIT) to create models of construction objects, ensuring the technological process of construction of buildings and structures, as well as BIM project management processes.
All members of the Ukrainian team are sincerely grateful to the organisers of the visit, namely Prof. Giuseppe Maddaloni (Università degli Studi del Sannio), Prof. Alessandra De Angelis (l’Università degli Studi del Sannio), Prof. Daniele Perrone (l’Università del Salento) and other colleagues from the University of Benevento, who made this trip interesting and unforgettable.
