Meeting of students of Chernihiv Polytechnic National University with AB InBev Efes

          Recently, AB InBev Efes held a presentation for the students of Chernihiv Polytechnic National University and told them about its activities. Currently, AB InBev Efes is one of the leaders of the Ukrainian brewing market and a joint venture of the world’s largest brewer Anheuser-Busch InBev and the largest brewer in Turkey Anadolu Efes. The company has 3 breweries in Ukraine: in Chernihiv, Mykolaiv and Kharkiv and 5 offices: Central Office, Business Service Centre and 3 regional sales offices.

          The meeting was attended by lecturers and students of Marketing, Management, Entrepreneurship and Trade. The speakers shared with the students information about the basics of logistics management in a food company, revealed the basic rules of the logistics process, discussed the main KPIs, shared information about inventory accuracy management and cost management, and talked about supply chain management.

          Zoya SHUNKO, Senior Logistics Manager at Chernihiv Brewery, Oleksandra MINEEVA, Asset Management Master, and Bohdan SHUPILO, together with the participants of the meeting, discussed the types of materials used in the production of our products, their pros and cons. They discussed marketing and visual appeal of products in different packaging formats.

          Students and teachers had the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the company’s activities, strategies and innovative approaches in the brewing industry. Interaction with representatives of AB InBev Efes allowed students to get a unique overview of current trends and development prospects in the industry. Such interaction with professionals helped the students gain valuable practical experience and review theoretical knowledge in the context of real business.
