Participation in the Health Hackathon 2024 for innovators as part of the Health Systems Innovation Lab at Harvard initiative
On 07 April 2024, Kateryna HNEDINA, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor of the Department of Economics, Accounting and Taxation, Coordinator of Startup Development, Innovation and Project Training of Chernihiv Polytechnic National University, took part in the Health Hackathon final as a member of the Insulin without Queue startup team, which presented an innovative healthcare solution in the field of hackathon “Cardiovascular Diseases and Diabetes”. As part of the event, the Insulin without Queues startup team received consulting support from mentors – healthcare professionals, founders and CEOs of startups.
The Health Hackathon is an event for start-ups to create new products and find innovative solutions in the healthcare sector. Along with the teams from Ukraine, teams from Harvard Health System Innovation Lab hackathons in the US, Brazil, Chile, Singapore, and the UK worked on innovative projects.
The Health Hackathon was initiated by the Health Systems Innovation Lab at Harvard, the World Health Organization Ukraine, the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and is implemented jointly with CIVITTA, Radar Tech, YEP, in partnership with the Ukrainian Startup Fund with financial support from the Government of Canada.
