Participation in the International round table for the International day of the fight for women’s rights

          On March 7, 2025, representatives of Chernihiv Polytechnic National University – Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work and Social Development, Head of the NGO “Center for Gender Education” Olga Melnyk and Associate Professor of the Department of Law Enforcement Activities and General Legal Disciplines, Head of the University’s Center for Gender Education, Member of the NGO “Center for Gender Education” Alla Nitchenko – took part in the international roundtable “GENDER DIMENSION OF RIGHTS AND FREEDOMS: GLOBAL AND LOCAL GENDER POLICY”.

          The event was organized by Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv jointly with Adam Mickiewicz University (Poland). The Round Table participants discussed key challenges of modern gender policy, including: anti-gender trends and their impact on civil society, the gender dimension in scientific research, as well as key indicators of gender policy in education.

          The Round Table brought together Ukrainian and Polish experts on gender issues, representatives of the academic community, government and public organizations.

          Participation in such events contributes to strengthening cooperation between scientists, activists and state structures for the implementation of effective gender policy in Ukraine and beyond.
