Participation in the international symposium “Symposium on Environmental Sciences and Sustainability in Asia and Europe” (Japan)

          The coordinator of the development of startups, innovations and project training of Chernihiv Polytechnic National University, candidate of economic sciences, associate professor Нnedina Kateryna took part in the international symposium “Symposium on Environmental Sciences and Sustainability in Asia and Europe”, which was held in Japan (Tsuruoka, Yamagata; in a mixed format) and was organized by the United Graduate School of Agricultural Sciences (UGAS) and Yamagata University (YU).

          Speakers from leading universities in the world joined the symposium: Leibniz Universität Hannover (Germany), University of Turin (Italy), Warsaw University of Life Sciences (Poland), Chernihiv Polytechnic National University (Ukraine).

          Key thematic areas of the international symposium, which were the focus of attention of speakers and participants:

• climate change;
• forest management;
• sustainable development and startups, innovative solutions and technologies;
  advanced monitoring methods;
• artificial intelligence.

          As part of the symposium, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor Kateryna Нnedina delivered a report on the topic “Innovative infrastructure and startups-ecosystem of Chernihiv region as a key factor of its sustainable recovery: current state, challenges and ways of growth”, and also shared her experience in conducting research on the innovative environment of the region and founding the startup “Insulin without queues”.
