Studying the foreign innovation ecosystem: a visit to the CERN Science Gateway

          In order to get acquainted with advanced foreign experience in the formation of innovative ecosystems, in August 2024, the coordinator of the development of startups, innovations and project training, PhD in Economics, associate professor HNEDINA Kateryna Volodymyrivna visited the scientific and educational center and museum “Science Gateway” of the international research center of the European the CERN community.

          CERN (European Organization for Nuclear Research) is an international scientific research organization founded in 1954 and today is the world’s largest high-energy physics laboratory. CERN is a center for conducting research, implementation of joint scientific projects, creation and implementation of innovations, which acts as a driver of the development of modern technologies.

          During the visit, Doctor of Economics, Associate Professor HNEDINA K.V. got acquainted with the key activities of CERN, innovations and professions of the future, immersed herself in the world of science thanks to various interactive simulators and scientific installations using AV, AR, VR technologies, located on the territory of the center and the “Science Gateway” museum.
