Participation in the 15th “European-Ukrainian Energy Day”

          On October 29, 2024, coordinator of the development of startups, innovations and project training of Chernihiv Polytechnic National University, candidate of economic sciences, associate professor HNEDINA Kateryna Volodymyrivna took part in the 15th “European-Ukrainian Energy Day” (“Building back better or faster: Pursuing the Balance”), which took place in Vienna in a mixed format.

          As part of the event, leading energy industry experts, representatives of government institutions, organizations and the private sector discussed the key challenges and opportunities facing the energy sector of Ukraine in the current and post-war reconstruction. In particular, the speakers of the event were: General Secretary of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber Karlheinz KOPF, Chairman of the Board of EUEA Mats LUNDYN, Ambassador of Ukraine to Austria Vasyl KHYMYNETS and others.

          Special attention during the speeches of the speakers and the discussions of the participants was devoted to the practical implementation of projects of reconstruction of energy facilities, the introduction of innovative technologies in order to comply with the standards of sustainable development, and the attraction of investments in the development of renewable energy. The experts also discussed the long-term vision and strategy for the development of the energy sector in conditions of uncertainty.
