Visit of the delegation of the federal state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern

          On 10 May, a delegation from the federal state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern visited Chernihiv Polytechnic National University  to meet with representatives of higher education in Chernihiv region.

          The delegation consisted of:

•  Bettina MARTIN – Minister of Science, Culture, Federal and European Affairs of the Federal State of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern
•  Susanne ROCA-HEILBORN – Head of the Department for Science and Research Strategy of the Ministry of Science, Culture, Federal and European Affairs of the State of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern
•  Rita GERLACH MARSCH, Head of Public Relations at the Ministry of Science, Culture, Federal and European Affairs of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.

          The purpose of the delegation’s visit is to promote the development of scientific and educational relations and exchange of experience between higher education institutions of Chernihiv region and institutions of the scientific and educational sphere of the federal state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.

          The meeting was attended by:

•  CHAUS V.A. – Head of the Chernihiv Regional Higher Education Agency;
•  SHEREMET O.S. – Rector of National University Chernihiv Collegium named after Taras Shevchenko;
•  SAMOILENKO O.G. – Rector of Mykola Gogol Nizhyn State University;
•  V.S. LUKACH, Director of the Nizhyn Agricultural Institute of the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine.

          During the meeting, the heads of higher education institutions of the region discussed possible areas of cooperation with the universities of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern: academic mobility programmes for students and teachers, implementation of educational and scientific projects, as well as joint cultural and sporting events!
