Visit of the GIZ delegation to the university

          On 25 March 2024, a delegation of leading experts, headed by Mr. Eric SCHWEICKHARDT, Project Director of GIZ, visited Chernihiv Polytechnic National University. The meeting was attended by GIZ project coordinators Maryna LYTVYNCHUK and Mariia KOSTENKO, and Tetiana KOPYTOVA as a translator. Natalia KHOLCHENKOVA, Head of the International Relations and Investment Department at Chernihiv City Council, was also present. Her active involvement in the cooperation process helped to establish a fruitful dialogue between the university and the GIZ delegation.

          During the meeting, further plans for the university’s reconstruction were discussed. The participants visited the Peremoha Startup Centre to get acquainted with innovative projects and opportunities for the development of youth initiatives in the field of technology, which could become one of the key areas of cooperation between the university and GIZ.

This meeting was an important step towards strengthening the relationship, so we hope for fruitful cooperation and successful implementation of joint projects aimed at improving the quality of education and developing the university’s research base!
