Wolfgang Schneider visited Chernihiv Polytechnic University as part of his visit to Chernihiv region
On November 1, Chernihiv Polytechnic National University hosted a special guest, Wolfgang SCHNEIDER, the referent for Ukraine at the Ministry of Science, Culture, Federal and European Affairs of the Federal Land of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, who visited the university as part of his visit to the Chernihiv region.
The rector, Oleg NOVOMLYNETS, during the inspection of the university, introduced the guest to modern laboratories equipped with the latest equipment for scientific research and practical classes. He demonstrated how the integration of new technologies into the educational process allows students to acquire practical skills according to current international standards. Oleh Oleksandrovych also drew attention to the laboratories for 3D modeling, electronics and information technologies, which are important centers for research and development.
The presentation of the scientific activity of the university was conducted by the vice-rector for scientific work, candidate of technical sciences, associate professor – Anatoliy Leonidovych PRYSTUPA. He introduced the guest to the achievements of university scientists, as well as to the key directions of research and development, which are implemented within the walls of “Chernihiv Polytechnic”. During the presentation, Wolfgang Schneider had the opportunity to see examples of innovative projects and modern research implemented in cooperation with Ukrainian and international partners.
In addition, Wolfgang SCHNEIDER visited the “Peremoga” Startup and Innovation Center, where he got acquainted with projects developed by young entrepreneurs and innovators. At the Center, guests were shown promising ideas and technologies aimed at solving current problems in various fields — from technologies to social initiatives.
At the end of the visit, Wolfgang SCHNEIDER expressed his sincere gratitude to the management of the university for their hospitality, noting that the high level of the material and technical base and the innovative approach to education contribute to the international competitiveness of Ukrainian students and scientists. He also emphasized the importance of strengthening partnership ties between Ukraine and Germany, especially in the field of education and scientific research.
